Student Life @ HKUST

It is our third year collaborating with the Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office of HKUST to produce admission videos for worldwide undergraduate recruitment both offline and online across different social media channels. This year, a much more diverse student mix with students from different nationalities and academic backgrounds have been featured.

Our production team had organised focus groups to understand the students more before we began with the storyboards. Topics such as identity, daily routine, personal thoughts were covered in the discussion. The findings allowed us to focus on four main aspects of the student life of an undergraduate student at HKUST.

Experimenting with long shots, precise mise-en-scene and animations, we want to reinforce the creativity and open-mindedness that the HKUST brand represents while producing videos that feel fresh and innovative with our target audience.
